Totally addicting!
I love this thing! It's lightweight, the screen is crystal clear, and the selection of font sizes are great. As easy to read indoors as out. The range of available material is quite broad, and seemingly expanding daily. It's wonderful to have a friend tell you about a great book they're reading, and before you forget that title or author you can find it on Kindle and it's yours.
Especially wonderful for forgetful me- Amazon keeps all your Kindle purchases in your media file- always available to download, and you'll never purchase the same book twice!
The Kindle
I have to tell you that the Kindle is the greatest thing since sliced bread and my favorite possession. I carry it everywhere and the size is a godsend. I have been stopped in planes, doctors offices, restaurants, and everywhere you can think of as I pull out my Kindle to while away a few minutes of waiting, etc. Everyone asks "what is it?" and by the time I'm finished with my demonstration, they are usually writing down the name of the device to add to a Christmas list.
It is by far the best purchase of 2009. I bought one for myself and my husband at Christmas. Absolutely NO REGRETS. EVERYONE should own a Kindle.

MY LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN..... as I snuggle into my warm bed reading next to my husband as he "click clicks" along reading his new Kindle ..... THERE IS SO MUCH COMFORT in hearing that soft, subtle sound - so much so that I feel a kind of emptiness when he is not there reading and I am listening and searching for something so soothing - as if it were so essential - as the sound of a mother's heartbeat .
